Bookbanks Leeds and Ipswich need YOU!

We’re thrilled to share that at the end of next month, we’ll be training two brand-new teams of volunteers… and you could be among them!

Bookbanks Leeds and Bookbanks Ipswich are set to launch on 1 July, and we’re now at the very exciting stage of recruiting two new teams to help bring them to life.

At each location, we’ll need 10 brilliant volunteers to run a weekly Bookbanks stall on rotation, helping get books into the hands of local people who might otherwise struggle to access them - and helping to transform food banks into places that feed the mind as well as the body.

So, if you have a background in books, a passion for widening access to reading, can spare two hours a month and are based in or around Leeds or Ipswich, we’d love to hear from you.
